She's now 2.479kg!

I just got back from my gynae's appointment and we're glad to report that Emma's growing pretty well right now at 2.479kg. The doctor said she's in good position with her head down already & her bum bum facing out. hahah... no wonder I've been feeling her bum bum bunching out on the right side of my tummy very often lately. It must be her stretching or moving around. Whenever she does that, I'll be quite breathless. Bleah. =P

My gynae has decided not to test me for GBS (Group B Streptococcus) because he said even if the result turned out negative, GBS may still be present during labour... which means, I'll still NEED to be on an antibiotics drip during delivery. Ah well... as long as Emma's healthy & fine, I guess I don't mind extra needles poking me during labour... Maybe I'll be so preoccupied with the labour pains to be even be bothered with the extra needle for the drip. =P Nevertheless, thanks for your prayers still. =)

Emma's cot is finally done up, except that we've not put up the mosquito net yet. Here's a preview of her cot & the Flower Wall Lamps from Ikea.

heheh... thanks Noe.. we just realised that the stuff toys in Emma's cot are all animals.. hahaha.. Giffy (the giraffe) is seated at the corner, while many others are flying high to help keep watch over Emma as she sleeps... =) and no worries, Emma's not gonna sleep directly underneath the "flying animal friends".. =)
